PB goes sailing

I am back in Perth. It’s good to be home though.

I can’t swim so today took a lot of courage. Lesley and Al invited me for a sunset sail, and I was very excited but very scared. My first time on a boat! We left from Royal Freshwater Bay in Perth and it was so pretty seeing all the sailboats at sunset.

I think I am doing pretty well balancing on the edge.

PB visits Busselton

Things have been very quiet in PB world of late, but at last I have had an invite. I went to Busselton for a few days. For those of you who have never heard of it, it is a small town a few hundred kilometers south of Perth. It is famous for its jetty which is currently being renovated. And here I am!

PB and Snowy

Thanks to Anne I met Snowy … and despite the fact that it is a very hot Perth day, we are getting into the Christmas spirit.

Merry Christmas to all my friends who are following my travels.

Martin (my mate the camel) arrived back in Perth at the end of last week and we decided to have an outing with Kay & Jo to Claisebrook Cove in East Perth.

Martin and I were just so glad to see each other.  It was great to have my mate back with me. Mates shouldn’t be separated.

And Claisebrook Cove is very nice too.

And I have been very lucky, coz Jo made me my own sleeping bag.  Isn’t it a beauty, so nice and snug.  No more cold nights for me!

Martin likes my sleeping bag as well.

On the way back to the girl’s workplace we found a sign that says I’m a 100 years old!  I don’t feel that old.

Lunch - Yum!

Well there has now been over 1500 hits on my blog.  Thank you to all who have visited to see where in the world I have been.

We, being Kay, Sandy, Jo and of course me, decided to celebrate and go out for lunch at our favourite restaurant Basil Leaves in East Perth.  Unfortunately Jan was stuck in a meeting, so I had her lunch, which was very nice.

Paddington goes to Egypt!

Oh I had a great time in Egypt although I suspect that Carla was a little jealous of all the attention I received from James.

Meet Martin – my camel … a gift from James. Currently I have been separated from Martin, but I am ever hopeful that we will be reunited in the future.

Carla and her friends took me to Eurodisney. I behaved very well, so soon I will be going to Egypt!!
